Trauma Recovery, Clinical Excellence, and Faith-Informed Healing

Healing from trauma requires extraordinary courage. Many individuals enter therapy carrying years of pain, confusion, grief, fear, and self-doubt while wondering whether true healing is possible. I believe it is.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in complex trauma and abuse recovery, I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and women understand the impact of trauma, reclaim their sense of identity, and move toward lasting restoration. My clinical work is informed by advanced training in trauma treatment, developmental psychology, neuropsychology, attachment, dissociation, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

I view therapy as both a science and a sacred responsibility. Through years of working with survivors of abuse and trauma, I have developed a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit and a profound compassion for those whose lives have been shaped by adversity. Whether the wounds stem from childhood abuse, narcissistic relationships, coercive control, betrayal, loss, or other traumatic experiences, healing begins when suffering is met with safety, understanding, and truth.

My approach combines clinical expertise with psychoeducation because knowledge fosters empowerment. As Scripture reminds us, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Understanding how trauma affects the brain, body, emotions, relationships, and sense of self often becomes a powerful catalyst for recovery. I believe clients deserve not only compassionate care but also a meaningful understanding of their experiences and symptoms.

For clients seeking faith-based counseling, I offer Christian counseling that integrates biblical principles with empirically supported treatment approaches. My Christian faith shapes my worldview and my belief in the inherent dignity, worth, and value of every person. I respect clients from diverse backgrounds while providing faith integration upon request.

Therapy is not a journey I take lightly. It is an honor to walk alongside individuals during some of life’s most difficult seasons. Together we may grieve losses, confront painful truths, celebrate victories, cultivate resilience, and witness remarkable growth. As Romans 12:15 teaches, we are called to “rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.”

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to ongoing education and advanced specialization to ensure the highest quality of care. I strive to create a therapeutic environment characterized by safety, compassion, clinical excellence, and hope—where healing is possible and where every client is treated with dignity and respect.

I remain continually awestruck by the ways God brings healing, restoration, and redemption into broken places. My prayer is that each person who enters my practice experiences renewed hope, strengthened resilience, and the confidence to move forward despite past adversity.
